Due to the innovative construction of the extractor, the root can be removed very easily and in an extremely controlled manner without causing injury to the bone. The best possible vertical transmission of the power requires the existence of a right-angled plane to rest the extractor on. The quadrant support offers such a right-angled plane for positioning the extractor.
