The A-V Impulse™ Foot Compression System has been clinically studied in over 10,000 high risk surgical patients at risk for VTE. Beyond a solution for DVT prophylaxis, the A-V Impulse™ Foot Compression System is clinically proven to reduce trauma and lower limb swelling post-surgery.2,3
The A-V Impulse™ Foot Compression System’s unique operating parameters are designed to closely mimic the natural hemodynamic process that occurs during ambulation. These default operating parameters include:
- 130 mmHg pressure rapid inflation
- 0.4 second rise time
- 3 second hold
- 20 second cycle time
